Delete from inside the app (recommended)
- Open the MindSpacer app on iOS, Android, or the web.
- Go to Settings.
- Scroll down to the Danger Zone section.
- Tap Delete Account.
- Confirm by entering your password and typing
DELETE.
Your account and all of your data are removed immediately.
Delete by email
If you can no longer access the app, email us from the address registered to your account at privacy@mindspacer.ac with the subject line "Delete my account". We will action the request within 7 days and confirm by email.
What gets deleted
- Your account record (email, display name, password hash, preferences).
- All of your subjects, knowledge items, and review history.
- All of your uploaded media (images, audio, video).
- All locally cached data on the device you used to delete the account.
What is retained, and for how long
Anonymous, aggregated usage analytics events (such as "app opened" counts) may be retained without any link back to you. These contain no personal identifiers after deletion. Server backups are encrypted and rotated on a 30-day cycle, after which any residual copies of your data are permanently overwritten.
